Pros & Cons
Pros
All-top recovery traction boards have a very similar tread pattern and depth-- and are a bargain in comparison. Comes with a bag that can easily hold both boards, allowing you to store them together in the bag so that they are easier to locate. Hardwa... Read More
They come with a nice storage bag to stash them in. The storage pouch is a nice touch. Only gripe is they didn't come with the promised bag.
These shovels are great for when it rains. They're also reusable.
As a product, these are a fantastic idea. But for most drivers, i suspect these will do the trick. Still, i hope i never have to use them but i know that they are with me if needed.
Cons
The boards themselves are decent, but the mounting bracket is garbage. It doesn't fit well with the product itself and certainly doesn't attach the way the picture shows. The instructions are nothing more than parts list.
Highlights
Quality
The recovery boards seem sturdy and well made.
These seem like they have quality material and longevity.
It was sliding on dirt but after putting these i was able to get traction before i started to pull the vehicle out with the winch.
Once the tire grabbed and came out of the hole, we were on our way.
Price
Purchased these on sale and so happy i did!
Great purchase even at full price, i actually purchased a second set for my wife's awd crossover.
Listed currently at a reasonable price of $24.
These are affordable enough to buy for a just in case scenario and you'd be surprised how well they work.
Shipping
Overall 5 stars not to mention fast shipping.
Arrived just in time for a snowstorm that surprised the pacific northwest.
Packaging/appearance
My reviews are not based on packaging or if it was delivered timely.
The 2 strips come in a nice storage bag, that i have placed in my trunk.
Competitiveness
I have a very cheap, long set of knockoffs from another brand.
I have another set from a well know brand that cost me almost 3x the price of these and honestly, theses are the one's i keep in my truck.
They are shorter/narrower than some of the name brand traction boards out there.
I use a set of big ones of another brand on the truck and these appear to be similar.
