Pros & Cons
Pros
It even come with it's own storage bag. I know quite a few prefer red while others like color coordinating thier gear.
These provide a safe way to attack tow straps, recovery ropes, and winch lines to your vehicle. Quick and easy way to attach recovery rope or strap to your stuck vehicle. Kinetic * rope for pulling out anything stuck.
This is my second set of soft shackles and they don't disappoint. The protective sheath is softer and more pliable than some i've handled.
These shackle ropes are light weight and much safer than steel if they ever are to break. Working load limit/wll is 16,100lbs. Used with 13mm rope rated for 7k lbs.
The shackles are definitely well made and there are no qc issues in that sense. This thing is solid, and well and smoothly finished. No complaint about the piece at this time.

If the attach point of your high stretch nylon tow strap should fail, a solid steel shackle would be a dangerous projectile.
A failed anchor point can become a lethal projectile.
Price
These are a great value, and i would recommend.
It might be worth spending more if you go rick crawling every weekend, but to keep in the truck for occasional use, these are perfect.
Good value for the money so far.
But still, for everything you get with the two shackles and snatch ring i think this is a great price.
Packaging/appearance
Convenient package of recovery shackles in a carrying case with smooth round sheive to use winch cable without cutting the soft shackle.

I wanted to give them 5 stars, but unfortunately while the tag and product description both say 48,300 lb break strength, the b... Read More
First, let me say these, come with a nice little case well, no, i'm bad, which i did not expect.
Competitiveness
They are more difficult to use (stiff) out of the box compared to other smaller diameters and brands.
I line this rope up next to some of the name brand 1/2" hmpe or dyneema ropes i have and the rope used in the shackles is small... Read More
