Pros
Easy-ish to assemble. Requires large cross-head screwdriver (not supplied) but this table is so easy to use by pressing the latch of its smooth lifting mechanism.
This table is great and provides a working surface with good maneuverability. It looks much nicer than hospital ones while performing same function. The nearest one with similar functionality costs around £170.
Cons
The table is not easy to put together. A danger for anyone frail. I am relatively practical, but found this impossible to assemble. Not a happy carer.

Competitiveness
After i came out of hospital, i looked for an overbed table like that of the hospital.
Glad i paid a bit extra rather than the cheaper flimsy versions.
There are similar tables on amazon, but they are awfully expensive.

This was ordered for my mum and my dad had it assembled and boxes binned before i saw it

Assembly was straightforward except for using the small end of the supplied spanner which was too large for the nut i needed to tighten

Does not move well on carpet and i keep pulling up the table height when trying to maneuver it but the spring release is easy to push it down

Would not present a problem for someone with a decent toolkit but rather inconvenient

Only 2 of the 4 castors are lockable so remember to put these at the table support end so that they are accessible when the table is over the bed

Table is a good size with a smooth easy to clean surface but this means things can slide around and there are no edges or lips to stop them sliding off the table
