Pros
Probably not worth the allen edmonds msrp, but otherwise a good buy. Good quality belt, a bit overpriced, but the quality is there. This belt is excellent as my other ae belts are.
Cons
A poor quality knockoff. Also ordered merlot and brown was delivered. Now have to go through the aggravation of returning it.

A belt size is supposed to be measured to the center of the holes, which are supposed to be at least 2" in either direction from there.

I got it at almost 50% off the original price so this is indeed a great purchase.

Packaging/appearance
I was excited to buy this to match my ae merlot fifth avenue and when it arrived, i'm really happy with it.
Competitiveness
I shopped around a lot and found amazon had the cheapest ae belts, even applying coupon codes to other sites.
I bought both the merlot and black versions to pair with the same color ae park avenue oxfords.
The look, quality and construction make my nordstrom and ralph lauren belts pale by comparison.

Consider ordering your actual waist size instead of the typical 234 larger for a belt size

My recent experience with belts is that none last very long because they are made with cheap materials such as vinyls and split cowhide that is then glued back together
