These retail for $425 on the allen edmonds website.
Ordered the exact same pair off allen edmonds for $331 and they had the same rubber sole stitching issue plus the tan finish was uneven.
I got it at almost half the price.
Given the reasonable cost of $167, i'm satisfied with what i received and can accept these imperfections.
Competitiveness
So the amazon shoes were actually better craftsmanship and $235 cheaper.
In comparing them to another pair of non-weather proof shoes, the walnut color was the exact same.

Additionally i observed manufacturing defects and inconsistencies between the pairs such as one being slightly taller than the other and the tongue having uneven corners that were not sewn correctly indicating the possibility of them being factory seconds

Very grateful for the hassle free return policy on amazon because if you dont get measured for dress boots at an ae store you may need to order several different sizes
