These pads dissolve water resistant mascara without rubbing or stretching. They work gently but completely with no eye irritation. It moisturises well too and easy to wash off. Been using the moisturizing type for years.

Press pad against the eye and hold for moment, then wrap pad around finger and press and sweep against lashes.

You will have to blot with a tissue afterwards to pick up residue cleanser, but still no tugging.
