It says flash cards, but they aren't flimsy card stock. The cards are double-sided. It’s also like a puzzle matching the wooden pieces to their cards and placing them correctly in the cutout area.

This product comes with a set of both letters and numbers colorfully printed on both sides with an animal that matches. The letters are indented to trace with your finger or match the wooden pieces.
