Id say it will keep me comfortably warm to probably just below freezing and below that it will probably be fine if i wear it with a sweater underneath and a scarf

Size 8 and i ordered a l in this coat so i will have room to layer and because i despise having my shoulders feel constricted and this coat is not a stretchy material at all

I usually wear a size lxl so i ordered the large and it’s still a bit too big however i feel that if i downsized to a medium then the arms would probably be a little too small for me
