I wanted a shoe that was:- barefoot like / thin sole, so i could point my toes (like jazz shoes but not split sole)- has rubber soles for street wear (vs suede studio wear)- the rubber soles have grip but not too much grip so as to allow me to do spins/pirouettes- has ankle straps so they wouldn’t fly off- was reasonably priced (costs at least 50% less than “dance shoes”)these shoes fit all those requirements.  Read Less
