Overall construction is poor. The way they've stitched and padded the top of the heel leaves a little nub that inevitbly creates blisters. Altra needs to spend less effort stitching gaudy mountains to the side of their shoes.

The shoe seems well built, i love the design and colors i got the gray and orange which looks a fashionable but not too “loud”.

I have never owned ultras before, my normal running shoe has been an asics gt serious, which is a stability shoe.

Altra makes amazing shoes, keep trying until you get the fit right!
