I have run in several altra shoes escalante paradigm superior among others and have had nothing but positive experiences but these new lone peaks did not last even 2 months of light trail use

That being said these were my favorite altras to date out of the box comfortable and the tread is perfect just the one issue with the sole separation on the toes

It felt too tight iaround the midfoot at first and i was worried but it went away after one run

I only knocked off one star because i can easily apply tape to that area before running

I have read others having the same issues so it must be a design flaw
