Pros & Cons
Pros
It seems the altras are going to relieve that. Great comfortable shoe…. It’s a keeper! The shoe is very breath able and light weight. Like the feel. Dig the clean the look.
Cons
Tongue stitching and lace eyelets creates uncomfortable pressure points on the top of the shoe. The glued on rubber supports look cheap and the glue shows through the design.

That said it was once i started evaluating these shoes for my original goal of using them primarily as running shoes that i realized these werent the shoes i was looking for

While the xt 2 grips like nothing else and appears to be built to handle shorter more explosivetype runs 30min or less closer to 8090 effort or higher with no trouble at all its insolemidsole combo just doesnt have the rebound or cushion level to be able to accommodate the longer slowerpaced miles that make up the bulk of my training

In the same vein and since im typically out on the road for an hour or more at a time these shoes just dont have the breathability that becomes critical when running outside during the warmer months
