Pros

I must preface all else by saying that for the amount of use i have placed on these shoes, 5 months use is not bad, and that is how long i have worn them. Best running shoes ever.

The shoe is supportive and feels light especially for the amount of cushion it has. The cushioning is very nice too. Just enough cushioning, but firm enough for a good feel of the road. Cushioned yet responsive.

They fit fine sized up. Took my 3. Neoshell size 12, altra olympus 2. Size 13. Am on my 9th altra shoes; 5 pairs are torin 1.

Cons

While this shoe was very comfortable and cushioned its construction is very poor. This is hard to comprehend in a running shoe that sells for upwards of $125. Now it's past the return window and the seller will not help.

The lining is already rubbed through at the heels with less than a 100 miles. Heel cup is shallow, mid and forefoot are super tight no matter how loose the laces. Just where your toes go, it immediately narrows so the ball of my foot is smashed.

Quality

Great shoe, love the comfort and feel, been wearing these shoes four 2 years and have had 4 pairs.

The areas of the sole that are covered in a durable rubber compound are working great.

Outsole mostly soft rubber composite and wears away at toes making launch while running (or even walking) feel a bit awkward.

My first pair the soles started breaking down within a month and the heel cup on both shoes wore out.

Price

It has helped me a great deal with my plantar fasciitis!

I've used vasque velocity and several other brands.

The brand in general runs smaller than others so i already know to get a size bigger than what i normally wear.
