Pros
The shoes are comfortable and provide the cushioning i need during my runs. Other than that, the shoes are super comfy. I can confidently say they’re the most comfortable shoes i’ve ever owned.
Stretching the calves and arch everyday along with ice is what will eventually improve plantar fasciitis. Very cushioned, large toe box to accommodate the hallux valgus on my left foot. The zero heel drop is an added bonus.
Ober 9,200 miles later and a few marathons. Ran 5 miles so far in them and love them. If anything, it makes the idea of another mile or two seem not only more possible, but more enjoyable.
Cons
The torin 4 has an uncharacteristically shallow toe box. The insole is plush, but too thick.
This is the only altra i couldn't get to work at any size. The knit upper creases like cardboard and feels uncomfortable against the base of my toes. Time to try topo or wait for model 5.

They’re extremely comfortable with the support i need.
After his first run in the altras, no more pain he is extremely happy.
No problem with the free return and reorder.
With that said, when i purchased these, i expected the same quality and results.

Cons the material is thin so don’t expect these to last long if you’re an avid runner unlike most leading brands it’s more of a mesh material around the toes

Great shoes but even with great care over time the cloth of the inside of the heel fails and develops a hole
