Torin 5 is smaller with a slightly tighter toe box. It fits like an 11. Great customer service. Just like original altras. Customer for life.
Cons
The tongues can only be described as * devices in the form of razor blades. They got cheep and narrowed the toe box (they take pride in a wide toe box) and the togune is a hard plastic ( no longer a fabric & its long) worst of all is the tongue wh... Read More

Finally altra has returned to almost normal with the 5.
Great experience with seller and with the shoe itself.
Hopefully they reconsider this design with the next version b/c there is no benefit and just chews up your leg.
I have always worn size 10 in altra shoes, but with the torin 5, i had to return a size 10 and get a 10.

They are like walking barefoot only protecting the bottom of your food from rocks and things that poke
