I checked and the label on the plastic bag said small but the altra card said smallmedium as did the label inside the gaiter

I would give these closer to a 5star rating except after one trip through the washer and the dryer one of the metal clips got fatigued and broke off

Actually used them today hate finely crushed limestone trails and resulting pebbles in my shoe this did the trick definitely go by size of your ankles i got smallmed to match my toothpick size ankles despite wearing size 10 next size up would have been way too loose
