Pros & Cons
Pros
They wash well and do not pill up.
Cons
This sock distributor seems to be changing their supplier through time and the quality is dropping. Do not buy this.
Thick socks that are thin as paper in the heel. After 1 wash in cold water and dried on low they shrunk by almost 4 inches. Socks came out messed up.
If you are used to buying cotton/polyester socks in a multi pack, you're used to getting holes on the heel or toes within a year. The grey socks wear out at the heel, ball and toes super fast.
Highlights
Quality
Durable construction: the quality of the material is evident.
These are some incredibly warm, well made socks.
Sure it works for maybe 1-2 wears, but this thing falls apart after 3-4 wears with a full 10-12 hrs work on a farm, just everday stuff.
They seem well made, but i think they will wear out faster because they are so plush.
Packaging/appearance
The socks arrived in beautiful packaging, which made me feel comfortable placing them in the designated basket.
The only take-away, if there is one is the packaging.
For some reason they changed to terrible packaging this year - wasteful useless stuff, more garbage in the landfill.
Box came shrink-wrapped in a light layer of plastic, and the wool socks inside were vacuum-packed.
Competitiveness
I wish i didn't have to deal with all those "before hand" directions.
