Bought one before that only boosted verizon. Worked instantly. Boosted -112 signal to -44. Very satisfied and would recommend this unit. Fortunately,this booster works.

Mounted outdoor antenna up 20ft in the air and mounted the indoor antenna in the house. The house has metal siding and roofing.

This defeats the reason for buying a booster. This antenna has to be mounted somewhere and 45' of coax cable will need to be run into your house.
