The reason you are not seeing the layered pattern undulate and pretude outward is because this is not cut from billet demascus and it is forged and worked as one blade then ground down until smooth then acid is used to bring the pattern out and make it more visible and it is then polished the blade is then sharpened and honed until razor sharp
