Cons

This is copper clad aluminum, which does not have similar conductive properties to pure copper. Aluminum is an ok conductor, but copper is a really good conductor.

It's probably the first amazonbasics purchase that i've regretted. That's deceptive and omitting a key and material fact. Misleading by amazon.

You have to heat it very hot before solder will flow. Made for a horrible soldering job. Now it's too late to return this unusable wire.

These feel like the cheapest sourced chinese copper wiring. They are not as thick as my 16 gauge wire from rockfish. Whereas 16 gauge aluminum is roughly equivalent to 19-gauge.
