Insulated well and real easy to work with.
Cons
This is copper clad aluminum, which does not have similar conductive properties to pure copper. Aluminum is an ok conductor, but copper is a really good conductor.
It works but the quality is terrible. That's fine and dandy, except that you cannot solder it worth a *. You have to heat it very hot before solder will flow. Made for a horrible soldering job.
It's probably the first amazonbasics purchase that i've regretted. Why does this product even exist except to scam people? Would recommend a different brand to avoid headaches.

Quality product, weight and gauge of wire is excellent.
Flexibility of wire allows for following the corners of the room; makes for easy installation.
It appears to be all copper, even though the description doesn't show that.
This wire is heavier gauge than what i normally have used, but i wanted that for the extended length.

It says it is 16 gauge which is probably correct but the wire itself seems heavier than other speaker wire i have used before that claimed to be 16 gauge

I ordered it hoping that it was i personally will spend a bit more to bet copper instead of copper coated aluminum
