Pros
I have it installed on a wall in a discreet corner about 3 feet from the window. It's super easy to install and i really appreciate how long the cord is. I wish somebody would invent a thin cylindrical antenna to receive from all directions.
Great reception, but directionally challenged. We often have to reprogram the channels every time we move the tv.
Cons
Do yourself a favor and don't bother with an un-amplified dtv antenna. Audio cuts in and out, despite re-positioning antenna and scanning and re-scanning the channels. Reception is average.
Didnt work well. Hard to hang on the wall without it being noticed. I had to literally put this in the middle of my window to get a fair to weak signal.

Before you buy you should do some research to see how far the ota antennas are from your house and in which direction they are

Ours are all to the north so we taped the antennae to the window to get the best reception

Before our house we used it in an apartment next to a big pond and any time the geese flew by it caused the picture to cut out

Hard to pinpoint what causes the picture to go from crystal clear to snow storm and back
