Pros
The cable is durable, reliable, and does the trick. Clicked into my samsung sound bar and samsung tv with no issues.
Cons
This cable will no fit securely. The plastic bit of the connector is too long and the actual pin is too short. Too much jitter for audio between tv and receiver.
This is the bulkiest worst optical cable i've ever encountered. Sound is very poor, i have to turn the dial up to a deafing volume. Replaced with much more expensive glass optical cable.
The heat cooks the optical fiber (but not the outside coating) the cable keeps falling out. No 1 year manufavturer warranty, since these cables are manufactured by a third party not affiliated with amazon.

Based on the sound quality of our new sound bar, the cable is definitely transferring the data correctly and flawlessly.
The connectors and cable are good - good sheathing - worked perfectly.
Toslink is a single line optical interface between your tv and sound system.
At first, the cable would not snap into the port (as mentioned in several negative reviews).
Price
It was reasonably priced and was long enough for my setup.
At its relatively low price, the toslink is a real bargain.
Worked like a charm and this purchase was less expensive than a whole new speaker system.
It works and it didn’t cost much
Shipping
Arrived on time and very quickly, same day delivery was worth the $2.
The availability of the short length was appreciated because i only had a very short distance to go.
Competitiveness
These amazon basics optical cables are just as good as monster cable but for a fraction of the price.
