I was never really a big fan of shirts that are blue red or striped but with white collars

Gross who did not realize the collar was not ‘buttoned down’ and indicated how ‘going to dinner with the family without buttons on my collar would have caused quite a stir as they know how i feel about wearing something so gauche’1 ‘buttoned down’ is the name of the brand not the collar style of this particular shirt

As you can see from the pictures and description this shirt has a ‘spread collar’ which would look silly if it were buttoned to the shirt

The line does have collars with buttons just be more careful to either look at the pictures or read before purchasing a dress shirt if a buttoned collar is important to you

It is still considered a more sporting style and traditionally dressed men do not wear this style of collar
