Set up process is second to none. Game changer for us. The advanced eero package you can trial for a month with add blockers and threat identification is pretty good.
Eero 6 uses the same wifi name for both 2. Ghz and 5ghz wifi devices (e. Ghz and 5 ghz – b) these eero things provide full speed wifi all over the house and just never die or glitch or anything.
Eero’s strongpoint is in its motto - stability. Says alot about the design and intended audience of the product.

It genuinely was plug and play with the app taking care of all the issues.
Shipping
However, the eero 6 in most cases, aren't shipping without this latest pppoe firmware so won't work out of the box (as of february 2022).
Competitiveness
That’s about 50-100mbps less than it’s competition, but this isn’t necessarily a bad thing (i’ll get back to this in a sec).
After struggling with dlink powerline adapters for years, i upgraded to eero upon a recommendation and its the best.
I used to have a whole complicated ubiquiti setup, and it was always playing up and had too many settings to adjust.

I was having many an issue getting my eero set up and wanted to have it plugged directly into the fttc modem supplied by the nbn as opposed to bridge mode ie the eero plugged into your existing router

This is known as bridge mode which does work it just means you have three boxes plugged in together which isnt visually appealing

Select pppoe and enter the username and password you use to access your isps internet these same credentials will also be in your existing modemrouter

Where i went wrong is that the eero app does let you enter pppoe details upon initial set up but for me it wouldnt acceptsave my usernamepwd which i knew to be correct
