Pros & Cons
Pros
Mesh router provides seamless wifi throughout the house. Previously had sever coverage limitations. No more black spots in the house and fast internet speeds.
Opening the package has a quality high end touch and the material they’re made from its very sleek. Very easy to set up, and os is maintained frequently and automatically. Easy to install.
I used a different ethernet cable to the one supplied and bingo, it works fine. Placed * hub into modem mode, plugged this in and just worked through the app prompts. once setup, go into your isp portal and switch off your router wifi signal to only o... Read More
Good wi-fi coverage and nice interface on app for controlling your network. The app is cool as well, giving a load of useful information.
Since our internet speed is less than a gigabyte i settled on the eero 6. Bought to go with the talktalk hub. Devices are faster and more stable! The only snag i have it is with the sony playstation 4. It has a ghz of 5ghz and a 5ghz network so old de... Read More
Cons
Main problem is that quite a number of devices don't easily connect. One of our laptops was fine, the other keeps on disconnecting. The router itself is a lot worse than talk talks own hub. It seems like the £164 for the eero equipment was expensive.
Highlights
Quality
Other than that, i simply cannot fault this product.
Simple to set up and easy to control with the app.
I've had endless problems with my virgin 3 hub with the network dropping out randomly.
One of the devices stopped working when i had to reset the system (problem with the isp, not this product), and the tech support was great.
Competitiveness
A friend had also recommended it, so i bought a 3-pack system.
With having a virgin 200mb download, i am getting at least 100mb download everywhere in the house.
I had constant complaints from the family in relation to slow internet and dropping connections, all whilst paying for a 300mb connection!
If service if fttc the best option would be to use a openreach modem with this connected to it.

Really disappointed by the performance of the hub 3 which virgin media provided us with it had great signal but was unusable if you you was to far away from the router but still had 2 to 3 bars of wifi which did not make sense…
