Pros
The eeros are a lot smaller and nicer looking than the r7000s. Works as advertised. It takes time for the mesh to take effect so best to start measuring accordingly.
Bought the eero 6 pro to update my home wifi to 'ax' standard from wifi 'ac' installing the additional eero nodes was very straight forward and easy. The eero app is very easy to use to configure the network.
The app makes it super simple to set up. I was able to keep my old wi-fi name/ssid to seamlessly transition most of my devices onto the network. It has better oversight of the network devices than the google product.
Cons
Or 3 devices will connect to the furthest possible eero box, resulting in the weakest possible signal. Don't give money to this greedy company.

Love the quality and build of eero pro 6 and the app.
With the app, control of the network it is super easy.
Product works well but the setup was very difficult and nothing like implied here or on the instructions.
Price
Bought this during black friday so the price was very attractive.
Packaging/appearance
The only problem with eero is that the firmware that doesn’t come with pppoe option out of the box.
Competitiveness
We’re achieving speeds of 917mbps on a 1gbps plan, so very happy with that.
Now the entire house from corner to corner has 5ghz coverage!
The exemption is if i had some devices connected to the separate 5ghz network that my old router and modem had.
Upgraded from a dual band d-link dva-2800 that unfortunately stops working reliably at a 3 year mark.

If you dont want to create a new domain name simply use your existing name and password and your devices should find the network automatically

For those that dont simply add them to the network via the eero app

For amazon devices they should tell you if they are not connected my echo show 5 gave me a verbal alexa voice notification along with instructions to connect the device took 1 minute to connect

We weren’t able to enjoy the easy setup process they claim because the devices hadn’t shipped with the updated firmware so we had to bridge our old router into it with eero support to do that before we could add them which took over an hour on the phone and a number of calls to get through

Shame they make usage and parental controls subscription based and it’s not a cheap subscription

Can understand charging for vpn and added security services but not usage info or parental controls

They cant be added while the eero is trying to establish a connection with your nbn modem
