It seems to be very well made with no frayed edges and finished seams.
It is very easy to clean- i use a cold wash cycle and did not have any issues with the fabric.
Unfortunately the material is way too thin and you would need a slip if you were going to wear it out in public.
I did wash it in the washing machine on tap cool and dried it on medium heat and there appeared to be no shrinking.
