Pros

The pre-installed amazon kids+ app offers a wealth of educational content. The tablet's robust parental controls provide peace of mind.

The only one thing i don't get is why there's only one girly option for the case? My daughter’s tablet was stolen while traveling internationally. The graphics on this baby are crisp as a fresh picked apple as far as tablets go.

This is for the kindle big kid option for ages 7-12. Started with the 8 inch for my two girls. Small kid option has the pink, but we need the big kid amazon kids now.

Cons

Amazon kids app never loads, kids profiles totally buggy. The parental controls used to limit and age restrict things is a time-consuming nightmare.

The catch is the images of the thumbnails never really load. Nevermind that the content is already downloaded to the device. Delete all access to this through the tablet.

I do think the tablet is good for children, just wish they would have stood behind the warrenty.

Bought it for my 8yr old who's autistic.

There are faster more durable models out there but at a higher cost of course.

If you use a card which extends a manufactures warrenty you would be better off.
