Pros

The device is easy to set up - you just need wi-fi. Some apps (channels) are free and some do charge a subscription fee. Love the interface. All of my streaming apps are on one stick.

Lots more storage, better faster processor, better connectivity, better hdr picture quality and more * on the remote. The pictures are clear and there's very rarely any freezing. The colors seem more vivid! Much clearer than the 1st generation.

Cons

It's outside of refund date, but says it can be replaced up to dec 22, 2024. There is no function within the return/replace process to get it replaced. It’s 3 feet from my router and nothing else in the house has connection issues.

The audio is out of sync with the video, and it's a different offset in different apps. Buy a roku.

I had a 4k firestick that has just been getting on my nerves with its laggy jittery interface no matter the app.

It's just too old and the remote wasn't in best shape lol.

At a fraction of the cost, it will do basically what the other will.

Gave up xfinity due to constant pricing changes until they priced themselves out of my desire to pay them.

There is no doubt that this item is an excellent alternative to the apple tv.

I like the firesticks much better than roku.
