These work well for mirroring screen/video from kindle fire (hd 6, 4th gen.

We tried using the wireless screen sharing on our 3rd gen fire hdx, but it lagged and sound could be out of sync.

I now also have a fire hd 8 and would love to have an adapter for this one also but nothing is available

Don't buy any other brand that says they work with kindle.
