Pros
This is a replacement for one i bought 5 years ago and use every night. Never has to be charged separately, or batteries be replaced.
Not too bright, not too dim. Pages turn quite nicely.
The grip is perfect and the maroon-ish color is beautiful. Fits the kindle perfect - no problems. Her only dislike is that the case has no closer to it.
Lacking a latch to keep the front closed, it still does an amazing job at protecting the screen. Rubber backing keeps it from sliding around too much on slick surfaces. Fit perfectly. My kindle lives in my purse so it takes a lot of *.
Cons
The bezel to turn the pages barely works. It takes a huge amount of pressure to make the bezel connect and actually turn the page--particularly on the right side--bad for us right-handed folks. Restarted kindle, removed and reinstalledkindle, etc.

The price is a little expensive, but the cover is leather and the little light is perfect for my night time reading.

Cant explain it correctly but something about the way it is permanently attached pulls open to use shuts to turn off it doesnt brighten up the whole room
