We were replacing a rod in the dining room that was very small in diameter and the cats messing with the curtain bent the rod very easily.

If you make sure the bar that’s in the middle is even on both side it will not bend

Inexpensive curtain rod however it lacks a locking mechanism to keep the rod from collapsing on itself if the rod is jostled
