It works so well and has never overheated on me. It’s compact does a great job. This thing rocks!

Shredding during commercial breaks seems to help a lot. It handles cardboard from boxes easily as i would expect a 24-sheet shredder to be able to do. It makes small strips 1 3/4 long and 3/16 wide.

I am hesitant to buy an amazon basics product ever again knowing they don't support their products. Defiantly wouldn’t recommend this item. Waste of money & time.

After 2 years of average home usage (i mostly use it for incoming mail) the metal bits are no longer sharp enough to cut the paper. Design is ineffective for long term use. Arrived covered in a sticky mass.

Directions states that indicator light should stay on — unless in off position. Stays green for about 2-4 seconds ( see video) and then turns itself off. Keeps getting jams or says over heating.
