Pros
This cable is the only one which does what it claims. It always wakes the display when my laptop wakes. Never had to fiddle with it to work properly. It lets me use my display port on dock and connect to usb-c on monitor.

This cable made is very simple, just plug and play.
The lock ensures that it doesn't get lose or gets unplugged due to any every day movement
The hdmi port on my lepow external monitor failed, and my laptop doesn't have a usb-c port.
Price
Best price that i could find for a true bi-directional cable.
The amazonbasics cable lets you do that directly at a fraction of the cost.
Only advice i have is pay the extra $1 and get the 6-foot cable.
I'd bought 2 of these cables at excellent price.
Competitiveness
Reasonable quality cable that does what it claims for less than competing products.
Unfortunately, most laptops don't have a displayport outlet and require you to get an expensive dongle.

The monitors individually work fine when attached to the thunderbolt connection but since they dont support daisychaining i can connect only one of them that way

Connecting the 2nd one to hdmi worked sort of but the hdmiconnected display would change resolution and end up as the primary display whenever the laptops power profile would turn them off after a period of inactivity

I had other displays connected to the docks displayport ports previously and did not experience any issues so my search for an option to connect from displayport to usbc turned up this cable

With previous ones id have the display frequently flicker switch to a lower resolution out of nowhere not wake up the display when my laptop wakes up having to unplugreplug both ends of the cable to work again
