Pros

It is the usual, two-step process, and it works smoothly. Prayerfully it makes it through all the other work i have lined up.

It’s an actual hole-punch machine that cuts 19 evenly spaced holes that are rectangular shaped. And the comb bonds through all the punched holes.

It takes just a little muscle to crank the handle down, but it's really easy to figure out and work. Instructions in several languages. All i had to do is attach the handle.

Cons

The hole puncher really only handles 2-3 pages at a time and a couple times the end curled so that it wasn't punched. It is not heavy enough. Would not punch out 3 sheets of clear cover without hanging up.

Overall, the quality and operation is as expected and it is working well for my projects.

This heavy-duty binder will punch 12-sheets at a time, and bind up to 350-sheets.

It combs with the handle disassembled, but it took less than five minutes to have the whole thing up and running.

Price

Was very inexpensive, and it is very easy to use and seems to be sturdy.

So, i bought the amazon basics machine for less than $50, thinking that if it didn't work out i wouldn't be out much money.

I spent $40+ (not including the 4 cab rides i had to take to them and back) at the ups store last year in just binding.

I used to take my material to have it bound at kinkos and it was expensive.

I just tried it with one (1) laminated sheet too, also amazon basics brand circa 2020, and it worked good.
