Pros
These are fantastic. They're compelling, overall. Recommend certainly. Can't complain so far.
Small and compact speakers with good sound. I need some headphones to match as my old ones are self-destructing. I have one of those odd samsung tv's that doesn't heave a headphone out socket only an optical.
Outperforms the usb powered speakers that it replaces both in volume and audio quality. The overall sound from them is preset, and it's a good solid sound. Only thing that mildly annoyed me is that you'd to use the speak jack as well as the usb.
Only small con, the bright blue power light is very bright if working in a darkened environment. Mains powered units are now very rare, almost everything is usb powered.
Amazon firestick s 4k stereo sound brilliant for the price. They look cool unbranded too which is a bonus. I don't use them for playing symphonies or loud music, so they suit me!
Cons
These amazon basics sound like 5 watt speakers. Awful buzzing when the pc is in in hibernate/sleep. Small tinny speakers. Much too feeble for music.
Total junk. Quite possibly repairable. The volume is unremarkable.

These are really good little speakers, i was surprised by the quality of them for the price.
Very well made and the sound quality is quite acceptable for something basic.
But if you are very specific about sound quality, just two mentions:they rattle and hum.
Tbh i hadn't realised how poor the old speakers quality was until i plugged these in.

They are perfect, they sit either side, slightly wider and makes the amazon firestick s 4k stereo sound brilliant for the price.
Great value for money, better than a lot of th more expensive brands and look more expensive.
