Pros & Cons

Pros

These dual brush pens are highly comparable to tombow. They get thicker downstrokes and thinner upstrokes than the tombows with minimal effort. They are better quality than i expected and a fraction of the price on more popular brands.

The brush tips seem pretty durable so far. The brush itself is pretty sturdy. The fine point nib is good, and the brush side is ok, too.

The only thing i wish they would fix, would be more of a color selection, there are alot of different greens and they could have done more of the other colors. The colors are great tho. Love all peach/salmon colors.

The pastels really are pastel, and the colors are vibrant. The markers do a lot of coloring.

Cons

Didn't include the blending brush. The pens are inconsistent. They bleed through paper terribly.

I really like them and think they are a good quality especially for the price.

At least 2 of my markers arrived with the cap open and were dry and unusable.

While these are close, the quality isn't quite the same.

Price

The price was extremely affordable as i teach calligraphy/lettering!

Competitiveness

I also found some colors have better pigmentation than their tombow counterparts.

I was thrilled to get these pens which seem identical to my much more expensive tombow dual-tipped brush pens.

The brush side is much sharper (more narrow) than tombow dual brush markers) and some of the colors don't match their caps super well.

The reason i don't consider this a tombow slayer is because of the brush nib, it is incredibly stiff, it has no bend to it.

Im surprised at the reviews that say these are better than tombow brush pens

Maybe they were paid off or something but these are hardly in that league

Also i really didnt like the feel of them

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

Theyre super long and lightweight not in a good way and the plastic is slippery and cheap feeling

But not as fantastic as the top glowing reviews make them out to be

These are some alright quality alcohol markers and are extremely pigmented the only downside for is that you can’t go over the same spot again and again or the paper under it will start to lift up and ruin that spot which might only be because i’m so used to using waterbased markers

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

Would not recommend for highlighting or layering as these are pretty opaque

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

None of my markers arrived dried out unlike some other reviews
