These hooks are less obstructive -- very easy to catch and hold.
I know their branded as garage hooks but they work great doe anywhere. Using these for one bike and some beach chairs.

I appreciate the solid flat base and i really like the cushiony coating on the bars, which helps hold onto things.
I love having it up and out of the way.
Competitiveness
I used them to hang a wall of dumbbells up to 15lbs.
As for “heavy-duty,” i’m not sure that’s 50 pounds.
I'd say they would hold 50lb or so as long as you put them in a stud.

As you can see in my photos the rubberlike material is an asymmetrical design with a wider portion meant to contact the item being held by the hook

Unfortunately this material is just slipped onto the hook so its quite easy for it to be flipped upside down or slide off

Its not a huge deal but i would prefer a standard adhered rubber overmold that wont move or a symmetrical design like a hexagonal profile so it doesnt make a difference if it rotates

The screw design will work well in wood but not much else

I also dont think this hook design is ideal for heavier items but thats not the fault of this hook for heavier items i think this wood screw would pull out relatively easily after some lateral loading

The protective covering on the hooks only goes around the end loop so if screwed into a side wall hey don’t provide protection for the item being hung
