Pros
The amazon basics iphone lighting charger is the best i've ever owned. Nothing lasts forever but out of all the brands i have tried so far these amazon basics charging cables have always worked well for me.
The amazon cords are thicker and have a velcro strap to secure the cord. I like it to an extent but wish it plugged into the phone more snugly. The velcro is that really clingy type, so just be aware and always curl it up so you don't snag clothing.
Cons
It charges well but the plug part easily disconnects from the socket. These cords should be recalled.

I am not sure how much that is affected by build quality, but it literally charged my phone quicker than a percent a minute (while in use).
For me it is good and of high quality, so i’m keeping it but wish that it stayed plugged in better.

Cable worked well for a year before having to wiggle to get charging

Seems somewhat durable but like all products similar to it it seems like it will start bending near the plug and then not working

I feel like these things are hit or miss… the contacts on mine seem to wear out early… but the actual cable itself and where the cable connects to the ends are real solid…

The cable covering is too firm causing it to tear at the phone connection side came apart after a year of moderate use

This might be good when you drop a phone and you want it to disconnect so that the charging part doesn’t break off in the phone i have never experienced this but have seen it happen but it also makes it finicky to use the phone while charging

This can easily come unplugged while being used which is the main reason why i bough such a long cord so this is unfortunate
