Cord feels strong and durable. No connectivity issues at all.

Cons

I know a device has connected or disconnected for the hundredth time. Amazon refuses to replace the charger cord which i have owned for three weeks.

Save yourself the aggravation and buy the heavy duty braided cables, they actually last. Otherwise, just splurge on the good cables. Even with a redesign, the fact that this made it to market makes me wary of wasting my money on another.

Cable should be guaranteed for at least 12 months. It's cheap, that's true, but it will only last 4 to 5 months. Only has a 30 day return window.
