The sherpa mats after a while but that's normal. Ran blanket through the landry, washed cold, dried medium. Well worth the money for our midwest winters.

Cons

After a week or two the inside becomes matted like a mangey sheep that needs to be shorn. It is nice and soft, but the smell makes it almost completely unusable.
