These saddle bags are very inexpensive for the build quality. They rival the quality and features of my husbands yamaha & bmw bags. My only gripe with all such bags is the lack of a retaining strap for the lower edge.
The dual zippers on the main compartments have a handle attached. The zippers close smoothly and stay shut. The material seems well made and sturdy.
They're durable and well made. Sure, these aren't as robust or showy as their massively more expensive competitors, but i simply can't ignore the fact that they’re adequate and staggeringly low-cost.

I trimmed some of the straps and mount them on my klr 650 crash bars.
(i tested an amazonbasics tail bag's rain cover under my garden hose for about 30 seconds and it remained surprisingly dry.

They are not waterproof and the included bag covers while do offer additional waterproofing they’re not watertight

My wolfman beta plus works excellent on my xr 250 but there just isn’t enough exposed frame on my ‘85 vf500 interceptor to hold it down the way i wanted and it took up too much space on my seat

The bottom of the amazon bags are coated with a heat reflecting material

The fabric is not waterproof but they do come with lime green waterproof covers regardless i’m going to hit the bags with some scotchguard

These did not work with my 2019 xsr700 no matter what i tried no matter how i mounted them they always sagged into the wheel or took up too much space on the seat to where it was goofy looking or unsafe

Although they seem decently sturdy the male and female straps on the right side bag both tore off after i tried pretty hard to tighten them
