Pros
Silver is used to purify water and cure or prevent disease. My only complaint is that it sometimes (30% of the time) gets dislodged from the pitcher when i refill it. Just put it in water and shook ot around.
Cons
Only 2 weeks into using it, starting having some kind of dye/powder come out from the top. They are cheaper but you get what you pay for.
Six out of seven filters failed. They should be called stoppers instead of filters. O.
The inferior amazon filters don't work. They drip more rapidly from the bottom of the filter and in larger droplets instead of the small, evenly spaced droplets produced by the filter that came with the pitcher. And lastly, they clog after 5 or so pit... Read More

Works just as good as the brita brand and costs so much less.
I really miss these, they do an excellent job on hard water, removing limescale from the water.
