Pros

Amazonbasics is still the brand i trust, definitely better than no brand cables. Its a cat5e cable. It meets spec and is pretty durable.

Cons

The cable modem doesn't work. It won't connect to the router. It also won't work with the macbook pro's ethernet port. There is no way to replace the cableconnector.

The cable is brittle and cracked. They are very inexpensive, which is a key indicator of counterfeit cabling.

This us an awesome 50ft ethernet chord.

Had to run this 50ft cable through the attic on one side and through the at&t conduit on the other side directly to the internet supply.
