Pros & Cons
Pros
Index cards are the epitome of basic; the archetype of the idea of business card. They have enough sturdiness and heft to ensure that whatever is written on them has some authority. These are a sturdy cardstock, not cheap feeling at all.
Colored bic pens, colored pencils, crayons, charcoal are great old-school alternatives. Each word under a specific letter of the alphabet is on a different colored card. Different colors allow it to easily dedicate each color to a certain category.
Added these to the cart and haven't regretted it. I admit i was wary of buying these, but i wanted the most bang for my buck.
The lines are sufficient to contain one's reckless scrawl. The roughed surface pulls one back to reality should one stray.
Cons
The descrption for these cards indicates 72 lb card stock. Not much heaver than your standard 20 lb paper. They are very thin and not sturdy. Ridiculously flimsy and almost as thin as paper.
Do not buy these. Waste of money, time and resources. How utterly useless. The problem is that nowadays, they’re all (brands) made like this.

These colors were amazing and a great price for the amount i got!
That said, for the price they may be good enough for your needs.
I admit i was wary of buying these, but i wanted the most bang for my buck and the colors are cute.
Competitiveness
The quality of these is just as good (if not better) than the more expensive ones you find in stores.
I had been buying a heavier stock, name-brand card but switched to these for the lower cost & higher count.
