The one drawback is that the neck of the hanger does not allow it to rotate

So if you hang an item in the wrong direction you have to take it off the hanger completely and cant just rotate the neck of the hanger

With these thin hangers you can fit probably two or three shirts per section so maybe even a dozen shirts on one multi hanger

Even without the multi hanger it would probably double the amount of clothes you could hang on your closet rod
