Pros & Cons
Pros
Tpu prints well and is good for parts that need to flex a lot. I manually heat the bed to 60 and the extruder to 220, then when they reach temp i start the print. It prints very easily, and you can produce some really nice looking prints.
Since this is tpu, as the saying goes, ymmv. Slicer settings with good results on the mk3s extruder. It works so well! I drop the ipad and it has been fine!
Cons
Feeds fine from 210c up to 230c, but strings and globs, and poor layer adhesion- is ridiculous. This stuff crackles like rice crispy's and it causes a bunch of extrusion issues. Pretty much inflexible compared to any other pu on the market.
Highlights
Quality
No issues with extrusion, the quality seems pretty good on this filament.
I think i could have tweaked the settings to improve the quality but i'm happy with it for now.
Generally speaking, tpu is hard to print if your machine uses a bowden tube and the quality will be lower compared to non bowden machines!
Both filaments printed well with the same parameters, once i had dialed in the correct values.
Competitiveness
I have had good luck with amazonbasics tpu before, and this one seems similar in quality.
Using it on my creality ender 3 v2 with no issues.
My printerall my testing is done on a powerspec ultra printer, which i believe is nearly the same as a flashforge pro printer.
Finally, the tpu was put kept in a sunlu dryer box for these prints, at a temp of 50c.
