While that did not prevent the dvds from playing there were occasions when i would have to remove and reinsert it two or three times before it would start

It has a builtin fan to help cool it and while i would not recommend you use it for a unbroken full season marathon of your favorite show it is more than sufficient to watch a video over the course of three hours

This is a genius idea because many portable devices have only one usb port and if you have this drive plugged in you wouldnt be able to plug in anything else without it

However if you plug the separate usb input into your device absolutely nothing happens
