It will charge a smart phone using a strong charger but not with a low powered one because of the voltage drop over 3m which is to be expected

It was awkard to keep going around the back of the tv so bought this and just leave the other end loose at the front of the tv

Bought this cable to use with a desktop pc to connect a portable disc drive which only had a very short leadit did not like being connected to the usb sockets on the front of the pc only displaying power light and the pc did not recognise the portable drive
